Pet Waste Inc. (dba Pet Waste Professionals)

By using the petwaste.com web site (“Service”), and by using the services of Pet Waste Inc, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”).

Pet Waste Professionals reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service from time to time without notice. Any new features that augment or enhance the current Service, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.

By ordering the service you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

Access to Property

  1. By ordering the residential service you are agreeing to allow Pet Waste Professionals staff members access to the designated yard or kennel areas of your property on the designated service day, each week.
  2. If a Pet Waste Professionals staff member is not allowed access to your property on the designated service day, for whatever reason, the service will be recorded as completed and is deemed chargeable.  You will be informed of the reason access to your property was prevented.

Billing & Pricing – Half Price Spring Clean/First Time Clean Offer (with 4 Month Commitment to Service)

The Half Price Spring/First-Time Cleanup is charged before service starts and counts as the first service of the first month.

There are no refunds within the first 4 months.

By ordering the Half Price Spring/First Time Clean with 4 Month commitment to regular service (6 months for bi-weekly service) you are agreeing to commit to at least 4 continuous months of regular service (6 months for bi-weekly service).  Whether or not an offer is taken advantage of, we do not start service for less than 4 months – it is the minimum regular service that we provide. You will be charged for the first month of service in advance when you place your order and the first visit will be your major Spring/First-Time Clean.  The Half Price Spring Cleanup is also charged before the first visit.  We then bill in advance, at the start of each month, for 3 further months which will satisfy the four month commitment to this service (6 months for bi-weekly service).  You may then cancel at any time, but the service will carry on each week, based on the assumption that you wish to continue with the service. If you terminate service within the first four months, or your scheduled payment declines, (basically If you don’t complete the 4 month commitment), the Half Price Spring/first-time Cleanup becomes chargeable at the one-time rate (Starting at $199 for 1 dog, $225 for 2 dogs, $250 for 3 dogs etc) in addition to any monthly payments already made.

  1. By ordering the regular service, you are authorizing Pet Waste Inc to charge your card each month for the value of your chosen frequency and number of dogs, until you cancel.
  2. Pet Waste Professionals currently offer one method of payment; credit/debit card.  We prefer to keep the usage of paper to a minimum, as an environmentally aware company, and as such charge your credit/debit card Monthly, in advance, and do not send out paper invoices.
  3. If, due to extreme weather conditions, we are unable to provide the service there is no refund, based on the principal that we will cleanup any dog waste that was missed, on the next visit.
  4. The prices for the service are outlined on the ‘Order Residential Service’ page of our website (www.petwaste.com) relating to whichever specific metropolitan area is relevant.  Pet Waste Professionals reserves the right to change prices at any time, without notice.  The amount billed/charged will never be any higher than the published rates on our website.
  5. The Frequency of service cannot be changed during the 4 months period of the offer.  For example, a weekly service cannot be changed to every other week, or weekly changed to twice a week service once the 4 months offer has commenced.  After the 4 months are over, any changes to frequency of service can be made.
  6. All weekly prices quoted are multiplied by 4.333 to generate the average monthly price (as there are 13 weeks in every 3 months).  The monthly price is charged in advance of service each month.
  7. Pet Waste Inc charge customer cards on one of 4 billing dates – the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd of each month.  The billing date is determined by your start date – for instance a start date of the 3rd of the month would be billed on the 1st of each month.
  8. All prices quoted are for lot sizes up to half an acre (including the house).  For lot sizes larger than half an acre, a custom quote is required.

  1. Our prices are applicable for properties up to half an acre, and up to 7 dogs.  For prices for any larger jobs please contact us for a free quote.

Guarantee/Complaints

  1. Pet Waste Professionals offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.  We ensure your satisfaction by re-visiting your property on the next working day of your notification that you are not satisfied that all of your dog’s waste has been removed from your property.  The only stipulations to this guarantee are that the waste has to be in an area of the yard that Pet Waste Professionals has been told to clean.  Also, if the grass is very long or the yard is covered in leaves, we cannot guarantee our work (we cannot remove what we cannot see).  Notification must be made to the Pet Waste Professionals office telephone number 763-546-4900 and within 24 hours of your last service.  If the notification is out of normal business hours, a message can be left with our answering service to be dealt with the on the next working day.  We require that you notify us within 24 hours of your last service as we need to be able to assess whether the job was done correctly – any longer than 24 hours means that this assessment is not possible.
  2. For any complaints, please call the Pet Waste Professionals telephone number 763-546-4900 if a quick response is required.  Alternatively please email to info@petwaste.com .  We are committed to responding to your complaint in a professional and courteous manner and to try our utmost to resolve any situation to the satisfaction of you, the customer.

Cancellation & Termination of Service – Residential  While on the chargeable service, the following applies to your service (this does include offers outlined above).

  1. You can put your account on hold to skip a day as long as we have received notice within 24 hours of the start of your designated service day.  You will not be charged any extra when the service resumes as long as it is not longer than two weeks.  For any periods longer than that, and only if the dog has been using the yard, a charge may be applicable based on the one-time clean-up charges once service resumes.
  2. Similarly you can terminate the service at any time as long as long as we have received notice within 24 hours of the start of your designated service day, and after the 4 month commitment has been completed (6 months for bi-weekly service).  The only charge which will become applicable is if you terminate service within the first four months (or 6 months for bi-weekly), or your scheduled payment declines within the first 4 months, at which point the spring clean/first-time clean rate becomes immediately chargeable as outlined below.
  3. When your card has been charged in advance of service, or a check has been received, we generally do not provide a refund – we usually complete the paid for service.  If a refund is specifically requested, or an order is cancelled, Pet Waste Inc. will charge a $10 administration fee to process any refunds.  Orders received from locations outside our service area and orders with lot sizes larger than half an acre will automatically be refunded minus the $10 fee.
  4. You are solely responsible for properly skipping service or terminating your service.  A telephone notification is required.  Email is not considered cancellation as emails can be missed or caught in spam filters.
  5. Should Pet Waste Inc need to remove a customer from the routes for non payment (which would come after 3 emails and 3 telephone calls), an administration fee of $35 becomes applicable.
  6. If you terminate service within the first four months (or 6 months for bi-weekly service), or your scheduled payment declines, (basically If you don’t complete the 4 month commitment), the Half Price Spring/first-time Cleanup becomes chargeable at the one-time rate (Starting at $199 for 1 dog, $225 for 2 dogs, $250 for 3 dogs etc) in addition to any monthly payments already made.

Cancellation & Termination of Service – Commercial (Pet Waste Station Service)

  1. Any discounted (Half Price) pet waste stations supplied and installed become chargeable if the weekly station service is cancelled within 2 years of the start date.  The charge is $224.00 per pet waste station (standard version) and is calculated from the remaining half of the station  – $149.00 plus $75.00 per station for installation, totaling $224.00 per station.  After 2 years the stations become the property of the HOA or Apartment Community.
  2. At least 30 days written notice is required to cancel any pet waste station service.
  3. Should Pet Waste Inc need to remove a customer from the routes for non payment (which would come after 3 emails and 3 telephone calls), an administration fee of $35 becomes applicable.

General

  1. Pet Waste Professionals, in its sole discretion, has the right to suspend or terminate your service for any reason, at any time.
  2. Pet Waste Professionals reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
  3. Pet Waste Professionals shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
  4. The use of the service is at your sole risk.  The service is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis.
  5. Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse, negative reviews (including social media) or retribution) of any Pet Waste Professionals customer or employee, or the Company itself, will result in immediate termination of service without notice or refund, and, if within the first 4 months of service (6 months for bi-weekly service), the remaining element of the four months of service becomes immediately chargeable, plus the Half Price first-time/spring cleanup element (charged at $199 for 1 dog, $225 for 2 dogs, $250 for 3 dogs etc.).
  6. You expressly understand and agree that Pet Waste Professionals shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages.
  7. All days quoted are working days – working days are Monday to Friday, not Saturday or Sunday.
  8. We can not provide same day or next day service.
  9. By ordering  the service you understand that we may send you communications via electronic mail.  You will have the opportunity to opt-out of receiving electronic mail from us by following the opt-out instructions provided in the message.
  10. Providing order information with a lower number of dogs than actually use the yard may result in suspension or termination of service without refund.  Your rate will be automatically increased to the number of dogs found in your yard/home on a consistent basis, without notice. It is your responsibility to inform Pet Waste Professionals of the accurate number of dogs using your yard on a regular basis.
  11. The days we do not work are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, although we reserve the right to work on these days should we choose to do so.  If your service falls on one of those days we will clean your yard either directly before or after the holiday.  In any week that includes these holidays, your service day will probably be moved one day forward or back.
